Since he began his journey in 2008 to become a rebel indie filmmaker, Brian has had one goal. Make entertaining films like the ones he watched growing up. He never wanted to chase awards, critical acclaim, or even peer praise. All he wants to do is entertain the audience. He often says, “...no one ever said Indian Jones changed my life, but people love that movie… no one claims Back to the Future revolutionized filmmaking, but people love that film. Why? They were fun and entertaining.” And he brings that same attitude to Inner Nerd Studios. Inner Nerd was founded on the notion that movies need to return to form. And Brian firmly believes that movies should be an escape. They should be a fun spectacle that helps you forget about your day, or any of your problems, or worries. Even if it’s only for a couple of hours. But most of all, they need to be entertaining. Fun, engaging, well developed characters involved in a well told story that has a good plot. That’s it. He doesn’t believe we need to make the next Schindler’s List, or Star Wars. He believes we just need to entertain the audience with a good movie.

Brian went to film school in New Mexico, has written and directed multiple short films (a couple of which won awards, even he doesn’t care about that), and has worked on feature length films both in the independent scene and a couple of big budget Hollywood films, in a variety of roles from PA, grip, and was even an Bouncer in an episode of Longmire. Most recently he was the VFX Artist and Lead Editor for the reality show Graveyard Carz and still does freelance work for them from time to time. He’s also a self published author and a father. But more than anything, he’s a filmmaker.
