Inner Nerd Studios is a creative collective of filmmakers, writers, and nerds passionate about telling stories that push the boundaries of genre. Founded on the love of science fiction, fantasy, and cinematic storytelling, we produce short films and original content that challenge norms and ignite imagination.
Our mission is simple: make weird, wild, and wonderful stories — and make them well.

Brian Lee Johnson
Brian went to film school in New Mexico, has written and directed multiple short films (a couple of which won awards, even he doesn’t care about that), and has worked on feature length films both in the independent scene and a couple of big budget Hollywood films, in a variety of roles from PA, grip, and was even an Bouncer in an episode of Longmire. Most recently he was the VFX Artist and Lead Editor for the reality show Graveyard Carz and still does freelance work for them from time to time. He’s also a self published author and a father. Darrin P. Fleming
Darrin shares the philosophy of the creators of Inner Nerd Studios that movies should be fun and an entertaining escape from reality.
He developed a love of movies and acting as a child, appearing in small theatrical and musical productions. Long ago (but not in a galaxy far away), Darrin worked for the company that produced some of the set materials for Star Wars.
